Terms of Service and Privacy

These terms govern every booking made on this website. By booking, you accept them.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

Punta Cana Trip is the commercial name of Punta Cana Trip Tours and Travel, S.R.L., a company incorporated in the Dominican Republic with offices in Higüey, La Altagracia. Throughout this document, "we", "us" and "Punta Cana Trip" refer to this company, and "you" refers to the person making a booking.

You can reach us by WhatsApp at the number published on this website. WhatsApp is our main support channel.

2. What we sell

We sell guided tours and excursions, airport and hotel transfers, and hotel booking assistance in the Dominican Republic. Some services are operated directly by us and others by carefully selected local partners; in every case we remain your point of contact.

The description, inclusions and exclusions shown on each tour page are the ones we commit to. If something is not listed as included, assume it is not included.

3. Bookings and confirmation

A booking exists only once payment has been verified and you have received a booking code. A booking that is started but not paid does not reserve a place.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, an accurate hotel or pickup address, and an accurate number of travelers. We are not liable for a failed pickup caused by incorrect details.

We may decline or cancel a booking if the service is unavailable, if the details are clearly incorrect, or if there are signs of fraudulent payment.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars (USD), per person, and include the taxes applicable to the service. Any optional extra not included in the price is stated on the tour page.

Payment is processed by an external payment provider on its own secure page. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Prices may change at any time, but never for a booking that is already confirmed and paid.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, date changes and refunds are governed by our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before booking.

6. Your responsibilities on the day

Be at the agreed pickup point at the agreed time, with valid photo identification when the tour requires it.

Follow the safety instructions of guides, drivers and crew at all times. We may exclude, without refund, any traveler whose behaviour endangers themselves or others, or who is under the visible influence of alcohol or drugs where the activity does not permit it.

Tell us before booking about any medical condition, pregnancy, reduced mobility, allergy or age restriction that may affect participation. Some activities are not suitable for everyone and the restrictions are stated on each tour page.

You are responsible for your own travel documents, visas and travel insurance. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical care and cancellation.

7. Children and minors

Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult, who is responsible for them throughout the service.

Some activities have a minimum age set by the operator or by safety regulations. Where a children's rate exists it is shown on the tour page; where it does not, the adult rate applies.

8. Changes we may make

Itineraries and schedules may change because of weather, sea conditions, traffic, port or park authority decisions, or other circumstances beyond our control. When that happens we look for the closest equivalent alternative and tell you as soon as we know.

A change of order of activities, of vehicle, or of a stop for reasons of safety or operations does not entitle you to a refund, provided the essential experience is delivered.

9. Liability

We are responsible for delivering the services described, with the care and professionalism you would expect from a local operator.

We are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including weather events, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, government or authority decisions, accidents caused by third parties, or flight delays and cancellations.

We are not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during a service. Do not bring valuables you cannot afford to lose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dominican law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Photography

We sometimes photograph or film our tours for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear, tell your guide at the start of the tour and we will respect it. You can also ask us later to remove an image in which you are identifiable.

11. Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell us during the service if at all possible — that is when we can still fix it. If you are not satisfied afterwards, write to us on WhatsApp or by email with your booking code and we will respond.

12. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logo and design of this website belong to Punta Cana Trip and may not be reproduced without written permission.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the Dominican Republic.

14. Privacy — what we collect

To process a booking we collect your name, email address, phone number, the hotel or pickup address you give us, the details of the service you book, and the language you booked in.

The payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of whether it succeeded and a reference, but never your full card details.

We also collect anonymous usage statistics about how the website is used, in order to improve it.

15. Privacy — why we use it and who sees it

We use your data solely to confirm, organise and deliver the service you booked, to contact you about that booking, and to comply with our tax and accounting obligations.

We share the minimum necessary with the local partner operating your tour (typically your name and number of travelers) and with our payment provider. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for advertising.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from any email we send you. Subscribing is entirely optional and separate from making a booking.

16. Privacy — retention and your rights

We keep booking data for as long as required by Dominican accounting and tax law, and then delete it.

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop contacting you. Write to us by WhatsApp or email and we will act on it.

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to work and for anonymous usage statistics.
